Not because I don’t want to help or that I’m lazy, although some may argue those points, but I always strive for efficiency and automation. When I was working in a lab, I would always try to make a process or task more efficient, simplified or foolproof. Usually this would involve programming an instrument so that the human factor is removed from the process (in this case, me). This usually removes the biggest source of error and improves results. When my wife asked me to hold her ice cream cone for the second time that week, I told her to just put it in a glass but I (begrudgingly) got up and held it while she cleaned up and put things away. Knowing that the week was not over and this was bound to happen again, I came up with the design for a better ice cream cone holder; the Cone Throne®. I hadn’t disclosed to my wife that I had just purchased a 3D printer two days prior, even though I didn’t have any idea what I was going to do with it. I printed a prototype and she thought it was a good idea. I thought it would be used exclusively to hold an ice cream after you made it. She insisted that it would be used to hold the cone while you made it. After receiving some initial feedback, she was right (don’t tell her I said that). Parents with two or more kids would appreciate serving both/all the kids at the same time, thus solving the age old argument of why did he/she get theirs first. An individual will appreciate having a stable stand for their cone while they put away the ice cream and scoop. Thinking of having an ice cream party; enough said. That’s the long and longer of it. Hope you find the Cone Throne® useful.

I need a hand please
